Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Social Responsibility is companies being responsible for their actions both in an environmental and socially responsible way, to help their local community. I have recently completed The Eden Project's Green Foundation Programme and part of this involves looking at my carbon footprint but also to build a sustainable business. I will therefore be looking at different ways that I can implement the different things I learnt, read my blog for the latest news.
I have lived in Redruth for over 25 years and I am very keen to become involved in the local community. As a member of of Redruth Chamber of Commerce I have supported many local event providing design work including a DVD featuring images of Redruth that was showcased at Royal Cornwall in 2009; the programme for the Maverick Casino Evening; promotional material for Redruth Goes Global and most recently promotional material for Speakeasy Casino Fundraiser.
I am also a member of the Promotions Task and Finish Group for the Redruth Action Plan Project. Another very successful project that I have become involved with is the Redruth Brewery Leats Clean-Up campaign.
If different members of community work together it is amazing what we can achieve.
