CAST Leaflet & Stationery
Award Winning Design
Created for Cornwall's Academy of Stage & Theatre School, as part of a final major project at Plymouth College of Art and Design this design won The Logo Design Award for 2008. The logo would need to be used across a range of media, including publicity material for any productions, t-shirts, website and signage.
As the logo would be used on posters advertising various stage productions it needed to be quite simplistic whilst still very striking and show movement, dance and music. Bright vibrant vector style graphics were used in order to appeal to a young market. A brand identity was then developed and used for their stationery, leaflet and website.
The printed material needed to portray a bright vibrant upbeat feel so that a positive message of the school is communicated. The leaflet has an unusual fold with a mixture of photographs and vector graphics. It has a target audience of both prospective students and parents.
